At twenty-one years old, Chelsea Attong is an abstract expressionist artist who has participated in live painting battles and art installation competitions across Toronto. In 2016, she came in first place at the Sleepenvie Art Installation Competition against four experienced artists and won the TD Mosaic Art Battle in 2017. Most recently, she showcased her interactive art installation “Embrace” to 4000 guests who attended the annual four day exhibition, Come Up to My Room 2018 at the renowned Gladstone Hotel.
Among being an installation designer, entrepreneur and budding production designer, Chelsea is a stand out artist that has taught over 200 art classes across the GTA and has showcased her artwork in twenty one art spaces since 2016. Her work is purposeful, provocative and unregrettably raw. She leaves sentimental impressions that guide viewers to open up and get in touch with the most vulnerable parts of themselves; all while striking them visually.
